Shares of Robinhood Markets, Inc. HOOD soared in today’s pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.

Robinhood reported fourth-quarter revenue of $471 million, a 24% increase year-over-year. The revenue surpassed the Street consensus estimate of $456.8 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Robinhood also reported earnings per share of 3 cents, surpassing the Street consensus estimate of a loss of 1 cent per share.

As a result, Robinhood shares surged 13.8% to $13.47 in pre-market trading.
