Shares of The Trade Desk, Inc. TTD experienced a sharp rise in today’s pre-market trading after the company reported mixed fourth-quarter financial results.

The Trade Desk reported quarterly earnings of 41 cents per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 43 cents. However, the company reported quarterly sales of $605.8 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $582.17 million.

Additionally, the company’s board of directors approved an additional $647 million under its share repurchase program.

As a result, Trade Desk shares surged 19% to $90.11 in pre-market trading, reflecting a strong show of support from investors.
