In trading on Thursday, the iShares U.S. Energy ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Weatherford International, up about 3.4% and shares of Valero Energy, up about 3.3% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF, down about 6% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Atlassian, lower by about 12.7%, and shares of Microsoft, lower by about 12% on the day.
