In early trading on Friday, shares of Amazon.com topped the list of the day’s best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 11.8%. Year to date, Amazon.com registers a 13.6% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is DexCom, trading down 12.8%. DexCom is lower by about 23.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Charter Communications, trading down 5.3%, and Marvell Technology, trading up 6.9% on the day.
