The National Football League has unveiled two exclusive streaming games for the upcoming 2024 season, with Comcast Corporation’s CMCSA Peacock streaming the Week one game in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, September 6.

This event, the inaugural regular season game of the NFL in South America, will also mark the first Friday night match during the opening weekend in over half a century based on a recent statement.

“Peacock continues to deliver the best experience in sports streaming, following this game, there will be live streaming of every event during this summer’s Paris Olympics and Paralympics on the service,” stated Rick Cordella, president of NBC Sports, a unit of Comcast.

Furthermore, Amazon.Com, Inc.’s AMZN Prime Video, already home to Thursday Night Football, will showcase a wild-card game this season.

“After our first two groundbreaking seasons of Thursday Night Football and our inaugural Black Friday Football game, we are proud to expand our relationship with the league and are excited to continue innovating for fans this season,” remarked Jay Marine, global head of sports and ads, Prime Video.

The upcoming wild-card game on Prime Video will be the second exclusive streaming of a playoff match, following last season’s game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs on Peacock.

“The strong viewership of both Thursday Night Football on Prime Video and the historic Wild Card game on Peacock last season demonstrates that our streaming distribution is resonating with our fans,” stated Hans Schroeder, NFL executive vice president of media distribution.

Price Action: CMCSA shares concluded Tuesday lower by 0.38% at $42.48.
