U.S. stocks were mostly higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining more than 100 points on Friday.

Carvana Co. (CVNA) shares rose sharply as the company reported fourth-quarter financial results.

Carvana reported Q4 revenue of $2.424 billion, coming in slightly below estimates, with a quarterly loss of $1 per share.

The company expects to see an increase in retail units sold in Q1 compared to the previous year, with adjusted EBITDA projected to be significantly above $100 million.

Shares of Carvana surged 31.1% to $68.69 on Friday.

Joining the surge were other major stocks:

  • Maravai LifeSciences Holdings, Inc. (MRVI) climbed 57.8% to $8.06 on strong Q4 results.
  • ATN International, Inc. (ATNI) rose 31.4% to $37.23.
  • Nextdoor Holdings, Inc. (KIND) jumped 18.6% to $2.04 after reporting Q4 results and a new CEO.
  • Block, Inc. (SQ) climbed 16.8% to $79.36 on robust Q4 sales.
  • Docebo Inc. (DCBO) gained 14.7% to $52.60 following positive quarterly results.
  • Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. (UVE) saw a 12.7% increase to $19.42 after strong quarterly results.
  • Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. (TNDM) jumped 12.1% to $28.02 post volatile Q4 earnings.
  • Akero Therapeutics, Inc. (AKRO) climbed 11% to $26.86.
  • Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (VIR) gained 10.3% to $11.36 after impressive sales results.
  • Ventyx Biosciences, Inc. (VTYX) rose 10.6% to $6.39.
  • LegalZoom.com, Inc. (LZ) climbed 10.5% to $10.87 with strong Q4 results and FY24 revenue guidance.
  • Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (FIX) gained 10.2% to $273.10 on better-than-expected Q4 results.
  • Hyatt Hotels Corporation (H) saw an 8.9% increase to $147.66 after solid Q4 sales.
  • RB Global, Inc. (RBA) rose 8.2% to $73.98 following strong Q4 adjusted EPS and guidance.
